Adobe CS5 Training Courses
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5: Basic
In this basic level course, students will learn how to use Dreamweaver CS5 to create and modify Web sites. Students will learn how to plan and define a Web site; create pages and format text; define
structural elements; create and apply CSS style rules; insert and modify tables, images, and links; test and manage Web site files; and publish a site.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5: Advanced
This course will benefit students who want to learn how to use Dreamweaver CS5 to create and modify Web sites. Students will learn how to design pages with CSS, create and apply templates and server-side
includes, and build accessible forms that validate user information. Students will also learn how to position elements and apply behaviors, add multimedia files, integrate XML-based data, transform XML with
XSLT, and collaborate with other site developers. Students should have basic experience with Dreamweaver CS5 and should know how to use it for such tasks as defining sites, inserting elements and modifying
properties, and managing site files.
Adobe Photoshop CS5: Basic
Photoshop CS5: Basic, First Look Edition, is the first in a series of courses
that provide instruction on how to use Photoshop CS5 to create
professional-looking images for both print and the Web. In this course, students
will learn about image copyright, identify the components of the Photoshop
environment, learn about the differences between raster and vector graphics, and
learn how to use Adobe Bridge. Students will explore various methods of
selecting image areas and will learn how to modify and manipulate selections. In
addition, students will learn how to work with text, layers, and layer effects;
how to adjust, retouch, and resize images; and how to prepare images for
printing and the Web.
Adobe Photoshop CS5: Advanced
Photoshop CS5: Advanced is the second of three titles in this series. In this course, students will learn how to use color fills, gradients, patterns, and overlays. Students will also create layer masks,
grayscale masks, and clipping masks to show or hide various parts of an image. Students will then learn how to create and edit paths and convert type to paths. In addition, students will learn how to apply a
variety of creative effects, use the Vanishing Point feature and Smart Filters. Finally, students will learn how to work more efficiently in Photoshop.
Adobe Photoshop CS5: Production
Photoshop CS5: Production is the third and final title in this series. This course focuses on the specific information needed to create professional-looking images for high-end business printers and
commercial print shops. In this course, students will learn project management basics and how to create layer comps. They will also learn how to optimize color management for print. They will explore various
techniques for adjusting the quality of an image and making color adjustments. Students will learn how to use CYMK separations for prepress, customize ink options, and adjust CYMK curves. Students will also
explore various options for using grayscale, spot-color, and duotones. Finally, they will learn how to optimize images for the Web, balancing quality and file size, and how to prepare images for use in video
productions.
Adobe Flash CS5: Basic
This basic level course introduces the basic elements and features of Flash
Professional CS5 so that students can begin creating Flash applications for
delivery on the Web. Students will learn how to use the Stage and the Library,
create and format text, work with basic shapes, work with layers, and use the
Timeline. They will learn how to format objects by using custom colors and
gradients and by applying filters and soft edges. Next, students will create
frame-by-frame, motion tween, and movie clip animations. Students will also work
with interactive components such as buttons and audio controls. Finally,
students will learn about accessibility options for Flash content, test the
download performance of a Flash file, and publish a Flash file.
Adobe Flash CS5: Advanced
Building on the skills and concepts taught in the Basic course, this Advanced Series course presents techniques for creating more complex Flash applications. Students will create and edit vector paths and
mask layers. Students will also learn how to use advanced animation techniques, such as inverse kinematics, shape and motion tweens, and animated masks and filters. Students will then work with movie clips,
use ActionScript 3.0 code to better control their Flash applications, and incorporate audio and video. Finally, students will learn some basic principles of project management, discuss issues related to
image use and copyrights, and learn how to plan a Flash application.

Introduction to Adobe Photoshop CS4
In this course, you will use the various tools and features of Adobe Photoshop
CS4 to work with images. Understanding the different tools and features
available in Photoshop CS4 will help you to maximize your creative potential.

sheets and creating and using libraries and templates. This course takes you

Introduction to Adobe Flash CS4
In this instructor-led course you will become familiar with the basic tools and
features of Adobe Flash CS4, and gain the skills necessary for creating basic
animations. Many concepts are explored including the difference between various
color and image modes, managing objects and text, and how to use Flash specific
features such as Onion Skinning and Tweening. Through live demonstrations the
instructor creates and manipulates a wide variety of objects ranging from simple
graphic designs to complex animation sequences using the Adobe Flash CS4
